The Golden Horseshoe Chapter of the Canadian Security Association will be holding it's annual Mini-Trade Show on May 10, 2012 in Hamilton.  Primespec will be a sponsor and have a table top exhibit at the show.

Speakers:

Paula St. Aubin from the False Alarm Reduction Unit of the Hamilton Police Service will discuss false alarm calls and statistics for the Hamilton area.  

Brad Bender CAT(C), CSCS, CHSO, Safety, Education & Training Manager for Melloul Blamey Construction, will discuss safety in the workplace, and government regulations for alarm companies. Topics will include IE, WHIMS, fall arrest, scissor lift (ariel platform) and first aid.

Denise Hancock, CIP, of Tripemco Insurance, will discuss Errors and Omission Insurance. She will explain co-insurance, truck tools vs truck equipment, coverage for office computers, and depreciation. Denise reveals the pitfalls of having too little coverage and how to ensure there are no surprises when you have a claim.

Elliott Goldstein, Security Lawyer, will discuss laws around video with audio, and several other legal aspects of security work.
